Where To Go For Tea

Posted on Wed March 27, 2019.

Not far, not far at all, is the answer... Our garden is full of nooks to take your preferred brew, to stew awhile under the trees, beside the pool, looking out over the Constantiaberg Mountains, with the birds and the bees between the flowers, in the shade of the breakfast room or with your feet up on the patio. The important thing is that you take the time for tea. Time to pause and sip and delight in simple things, between the adventures Cape Town calls you outside for. Time for some P&Q.... peace and quiet.

A CUP OF TEA

When the world is all at odds
and the mind is all at sea,
then cease the useless tedium
and brew a cup of tea.

There is magic in its fragrance;
there is solace in its taste.
And then laden moments vanish
somehow into space.

The world becomes a lovely thing;
there’s beauty as you’ll see.
All because you briefly stopped
to brew a cup of tea.
